Human Milk Bank is an organized service for selection of donor human mothers, collection of donor human milk(DHM), processing, storage and distribution of human breast milk for the sick or premature new born or low weight infants.

“YASHODA” Advanced Human Milk Bank, Comprehensive Lactation Management, Training & Research Center (YHMB & CLMTRC) has all advanced facilities for collection, processing, analysis, fortification, storage of DHM.

Since its inception in 2013 “Yashoda” received voluntary breast milk donation from 9500 mothers and 13630 infants benefitted with the services of milk bank.

Collection and distribution of human breast milk is entirely free of cost facility provided by the organization though it involves a huge cost on the process of milk collection to distribution including administrative and logistic support.

Total donor human breast milk collection till 2018 was 16, 52,784 and distribution counts to 13, 64,302.
